BROWSER SETTINGS, your browser must allow javascript operation for the page-turning, etc. and allow cookies for the bookmarking. Web browsers usually allow both by default. Investigate the 'options' or 'preferences' of your browser only if what is described below doesn't happen. THE MENU PANEL. Notice that when you move the mouse to the top of the page, a menu panel with chapter titles appears, from which you can select where to go, including a bar at the bottom to jump to locations in the book. PAGE TURNING Click the page on the side you wish to go. BOOKMARKING: When reading, you may wish to stop, to investigate another page. Before leaving to the other page, click 'INSERT BOOKMARK'. Then later, click 'GO TO BOOKMARK' to return to the page, to resume reading. The bookmarking creates a cookie that should survive in your browser's cache, so that it is wise to 'INSERT BOOKMARK' every time you exit the book, to record where you were. AVOID EYE STRAIN There is a tendency for people to stare at a computer screen because the monitor is not moving. If you plan to read from the screen a while, move around, lean back, look away - like when reading a real book. Eyes like to be dancing around, not staring constantly.
